An environmentally sustainable way for effective water purification by adsorptive red mud cementitious composite cubes modified with bentonite and activated carbon

More practical, easy-to-design, inexpensive, environmentally-sustainable, and environmentally-friendly approaches are needed for access to clean water. The utility of red mud, which is considered hazardous waste, combined with bentonite activated carbon in cement pastes has been investigated effective water treatment method. Improvement rates 51.7% 90.27% was achieved removing heavy metals such as, cobalt barium, very toxic human health from the raw dam using adsorptive mud paste cubes modified carbon, these can be an important alternative treating industrial wastewater originating production facilities factories. Designed used as a softening tool, have brought drinking standards terms its physical, chemical, biological properties. These sand filters existing plants or pervious concrete roads porosity structure 2.12 times higher than that control prevent rainwater pollution, minimize floods sewer systems, reduce pollution load plant.
